We take great pride in our teams – and they take great pride in their work, so you have peace of mind.
More than 4,500 cleaners and supervisors are delivering great standards in cleaning every day through the a+ brand. Together, they clean over 1 million square metres of healthcare space every day.
Each one of them is trained in the technical skills necessary to deliver great cleaning standards. We also make sure that they work safely through HSE training and dedicated infection control training. The final touch, and the element that makes our teams different, is the focus on behaviours.
a+ team members go through the same learning process that all Medirest colleagues go through. It is focused on the needs of patients, NHS colleagues and visitors, and recognition of the essential role that support teams play in the day-to-day performance of a hospital.
